The Beauty in the Rhythm of the Rain
Welcome , kindred spirits and fellow nature lovers! My name is Consuala and I'm thrilled to embark on this journey with you, where the wonders of the natural world and the art of self-care intertwine. As someone who finds solace and inspiration in the embrace of God's creation (nature), I've poured my heart into creating skincare that not only nourishes your skin but also connects you to the earth's purest gifts.
Nature has always been my sanctuary, a place where I feel the divine in every leaf, every sunrise and sunset, animals, insects, and every drop of rain. This deep connection has inspired me to craft products that honor the beauty of our planet, using only the finest natural ingredients to bring out the best in your skin.
Through this blog, I'm excited to share my love for the environment, the stories behind the ingredients, spiritual insight, and tips for embracing a lifestyle that's as kind to the earth as it is to ourselves. Together, let's explore the magic of nature, the power of mindfulness, and the radiant beauty that shines from within when we align with the rhythms of the world around us.
The Beauty in the Rhythm of the Rain
Water is an essential element of life on our planet. Water is powerful yet gentle. Water is cleansing and healing. Water is a force, its own energy, and has a spirit. Water has the power to manipulate anything it encounters. Does it feel good to take a bath in warm water at the end of a long day? To calm your mind, body and spirit doesn’t taking a hot shower or bath relax you in preparation for sleep? On a hot summer day or even after a rigorous workout, do you crave a drink of water? Ever wonder why our elder’s body would ache alerting them of coming rain?
Along my journey, I’ve learned that rain is more than just weather, its purifying and cleansing to the soul. Today, God has led me to mediate on the spiritual aspect of rain and succumb to its beauty. Our society is programmed to rush instead of enjoying the journey at a steady pace. I remember years ago having to commute to work on rainy days. I used to dread these workdays because it was almost a guarantee that I would encounter an accident that would cause horrendous traffic along my way. With maturity, I would learn to plan and prepare in advance. I would wear long sleeve shirts, pants, and closed-toe shoes to prevent being wet and cold working under AC vents and to protect my body from contracting microbials traveling through the moist air molecules landing on my skin. I would allow myself more time for travel, leaving home at least 30-45 minutes earlier to ensure safe travel and on-time arrival. I would even pack my lunch to avoid driving during the workday. However, all this planning had no baring on this overwhelming force of slow down and sleepy-like daze I would wrestle with all day.
Water is a force and has a powerful purpose. I believe God’s purpose for rain is to slow us down and return us to focus on our inward selves, our spirit. The rhythm of the rain has the power to relax us. I believe we are meant to take time to conversate with our spirit and listen intently to what it’s been communicating to us that we’ve been ignoring in our day-to-day lives. Growing up, my mother would teach us that rain provides good sleeping weather. And boy was she right. The sound of the rain is so relaxing that you can stream the sound of rain or running water on media platforms! On rainy days, we open our windows to tune in to Nature’s symphony. Rainy days provide great opportunities to read, write, communicate, and intimacy. For many of us, the ideal vacation involves being around a body of water.
Rain offers us a wide range of benefits that we take for granted. Rain provides essential water to plants, trees, and crops which sustain our ecosystems. Rain replenishes groundwater and rivers, providing clean drinking water for animals and aquatic life. Rain helps to wash away pollutants, dust, and allergens from the air improving air quality. Ever notice how the atmosphere feels and smells fresher after it rains? Rain enhances natural beauty. Landscapes appear more vibrant and lush with colors more saturated. The reflection of light on wet surfaces creates beautiful scenery. Rain can cool the environment making living conditions more comfortable for humans and animals, especially on hot days. From a spiritual standpoint, rain is also a symbol of renewal and cleansing, washing away the old, making way for new growth and possibilities.
Be grateful for rainy days. Let the rhythm of the rain get into you. Take the time for introspection. Dance to the beauty of the melody of the rain.
How does the rain move your spirit? How do you feel on rainy days? Do you take time for introspection? What are your thoughts on the spirit of Water? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Absolutely… water is extremely powerful and transformative…. Just look at this avatar that we are in… it’s composed primarily of water… it’s just in a more solid state…. As we look at the cleansing effect of Mother Nature on the planet right now on the east coast, we see that the water is cleansing ever so gently the spaces that are needed… even to the point of applying a little more aggression on some areas…. The energy that you leverage in the creation of your eliv8 beauty line exemplifies this very same technique… embodying the very nature of what she teaches us ever so naturally. I have used eliv8 beauty for almost the past year, and my skin has b…
